The Youth Ministry Directorate, in collaboration with Gideons International, made donations to COVID-19 Patients at PCC Isolation Centre yesterday. The items presented were 200 pieces of 2020 COP-Youth Ministry Devotional guide and Gideons English Bibles respectively.
Presenting the items on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, the Youth Director, Ps. Ebenezer Hagan, expressed his gratitude for the great work being done by frontline personnel stationed at PCC and further said that the gesture is the Ministry’s way of contributing to show their love for the patients and also contributes to their spiritual wellness even as their physical wellbeing is being for cared by the medical staffs.
He added that the presentation was part of the Youth Ministry’s effort to fulfil its 5-year vision mandate in line with the church’s theme which is “Grounded in Christ to Possess the Nations.”
Receiving the items on behalf of the Centre, Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei (Centre Manager –PCC) thanked the Youth Ministry and Gideons International for this thoughtful gesture. The items were then handed over to the team of the Medical personnel at the ceremony on behalf of the patients led by Dr Fredua Agyeman.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Patients, Dr Fredua Agyeman expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership of The Church of Pentecost for their numerous supports in these hard times.
He added that “the Church of Pentecost has been a great example of the biblical church, rising up to the task and being very supportive during this pandemic, with the release of its ultra-modern Convention Centre, and just when we taught it was over they have brought us something else to boost the spiritual healing of the patients.
He also briefed the team on their operations so far with some reports of recoveries that have been discharged over the period.
Among the dignitaries was the Country Director of Gideons International, Mr John Paul, the Head of Specialized Ministry of the Youth Ministry, Ps Isaac Osei, Greater Accra Travelling Secretary, Ps Kwadwo Obeng and the representatives of the Medical team. Also in attendance were Ps. Theodore Ashia and the Prayer Team.
Special Prayers were offered by APS. Samuel Nana Agyei for the entire Patients and Paramedics in the Centre for the Lord protection, healing and speedy recovery of all COVID -19 patients in Ghana.
