The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has issued out a statement that gives directives for hotels, restaurants, drinking bars and all food chain suppliers to operate even in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic in the country. the statement, issued on May 13 outlines guidelines and standards the hospitality industry could work around even as they begin their operations to curb the possible spread of the coronavirus disease.
According to the GTA, the reopening follows President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nation address on Sunday.
The statement issued however restrained night clubs in the country to still remain closed
It urged management to ensure all staff and other workplace protocols are in place to guarantee the safety of workers and patrons.
