The National Sports Authority ( NSA ) of Ghana has directed its regional directors to continue the suspension of all sporting activities till further notice.
This statement comes after the President of Ghana , His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo last Sunday , 20th April , 2020 addressing the nation , lifted the imposition of lockdown on Greater Accra , Tema , Kasoa , Greater Kumasi and its environs .
” All sporting activities remain suspended till further notice , You are to ensure that only essential services are provided from various directorates including the Head Office. Departmental Heads of security , administration , public relations , human resources and accounts are expected to be at post ” , the statement signed by Mr. Charles Amofah , Head of Public Relations at the NSA read .
” All other staff are encouraged to work from home using digital workspace , except when their services are critically needed which in that case , permission must be sought from the Director – General.
